Common Problems & Solutions

Hydraulic Pressure Loss

Critical

Sudden or gradual drop in hydraulic pressure during operation

  • 1
    Inspect Hydraulic Lines

Check all hydraulic hoses and fittings for visible leaks, cracks, or loose connections

  • 2
    Check Oil Level

Verify hydraulic oil level in the reservoir. Top up if necessary with recommended oil type

  • 3
    Test Pump Operation

Listen for unusual pump noises. Check pump suction strainer for clogging

  • 4
    Inspect Relief Valves

Test pressure relief valves for proper operation. Clean or replace if stuck

  • 5
    Check Cylinder Seals

Inspect hydraulic cylinder seals for wear or damage. Replace if necessary

Try these first:
  • Bleed air from hydraulic system
  • Tighten loose fittings (do not overtighten)
  • Replace clogged filters
  • Check oil temperature and viscosity

Contact support if:
  • Pressure loss persists after all troubleshooting steps
  • Hydraulic pump is making abnormal noises
  • Multiple leaks are present
  • Oil contamination is suspected

Unusual Vibrations

Warning

Excessive vibrations or abnormal machine movement during operation

  • 1
    Check Mounting Bolts

Inspect and tighten all foundation and frame mounting bolts

  • 2
    Verify Leveling

Use precision level to ensure machine is properly leveled

  • 3
    Inspect Bearings

Check main bearings for wear, lubrication, or damage

  • 4
    Check Die Alignment

Verify upper and lower die alignment and clearance

  • 5
    Inspect Flywheel

Check flywheel balance and condition. Balance if necessary

Try these first:
  • Tighten loose mounting bolts
  • Rebalance flywheel
  • Adjust die alignment
  • Lubricate bearings and moving parts

Contact support if:
  • Vibrations are severe and affect part quality
  • Bearings show signs of serious wear
  • Flywheel cannot be balanced
  • Foundation issues are suspected

Control System Errors

Information

Error codes displayed on control panel or unresponsive controls

  • 1
    Document Error Code

Record the exact error code displayed on the control panel

  • 2
    Check Power Supply

Verify stable 3-phase power with correct voltage and frequency

  • 3
    Inspect Sensors

Check all limit switches, proximity sensors, and safety devices

  • 4
    Reset Control Panel

Power cycle the control system (follow manufacturer's procedure)

  • 5
    Check Connections

Inspect all electrical connections for loose or corroded terminals

Error Code Description Action
E01 Hydraulic Pressure Low Check oil level and pump
E02 Safety Circuit Fault Check safety devices
E03 Motor Overload Check motor and load
E04 Sensor Malfunction Replace faulty sensor

Contact support if:
  • Error code persists after troubleshooting
  • Unknown error code appears
  • Control panel is completely unresponsive
  • Multiple errors occur simultaneously

5-Minute Diagnostic Process

Observe Symptoms

Note abnormal sounds, vibrations, smells, or visual indicators

Check Gauges

Monitor pressure, temperature, and electrical readings

Inspect Systems

Visual inspection of key components and connections

Apply Solution

Implement recommended fix and verify resolution

Quick Fix Library

Low Oil Pressure

Check oil level, inspect pump strainer, bleed air from system, and verify oil viscosity matches specifications.

Overheating

Check cooling system operation, clean radiator fins, verify oil flow, and reduce production speed temporarily.

Noisy Operation

Lubricate moving parts, check bearing condition, tighten loose fasteners, and inspect die alignment.

Cycle Errors

Reset control system, check sensor alignment, verify programming parameters, and inspect safety interlocks.

Speed Issues

Check V-belt tension, inspect motor drive, verify flywheel condition, and adjust speed settings.

Pressure Spikes

Test relief valve operation, check for system blockages, inspect accumulator condition, and adjust pressure settings.
